NZB Unveil Unrivalled Ready to Run Sale Catalogue
The catalogue for the world’s leading two-year-old sale is now online, with New Zealand Bloodstock’s 2026 Ready to Run Sale set to take place at Karaka on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November.
Peerless by every measure, NZB’s Ready to Run Sale graduates have won 33 Group One races and 115 stakes races in the last five seasons.
Last season alone, Ready to Run graduates won 26 black-type races, while graduates of both Australian 2YO sales combined claimed only 12 in the same period.
Hong Kong Derby victor Invincible Ibis (Hellbent), plus Group One stars Ceolwulf (NZ) (Tavistock), Mr Brightside (NZ) (Bullbars), Gringotts (NZ) (Per Incanto), Lucky Sweynesse (NZ) (Sweynesse), Golden Sixty (Medaglia d’Oro), Antino (NZ) (Redwood), Feroce (NZ) (Super Seth), War Machine (NZ) (Harry Angel) and Warmonger (NZ) (War Decree) headline a remarkable list of recent graduates from this sale.
Combining both quality and quantity, the elite catalogue features 460 two-year-olds selected and prepared by 36 of New Zealand’s leading horsemen and women, backed by the proven performance that has made the Ready to Run Sale the benchmark for two-year-old sales worldwide.
With 119 sires represented, it is the most diverse catalogue ever assembled for the Ready to Run Sale. Leading sires from New Zealand and Australia feature prominently, including Proisir, Savabeel, Per Incanto, Shamexpress, Super Seth, Wrote, Satono Aladdin, Ocean Park, Sweynesse, Sword of State, The Autumn Sun, Street Boss, Hellbent, Written Tycoon, Toronado, Capitalist, So You Think, Russian Revolution, Frankel, Too Darn Hot and Home Affairs , alongside a host of exciting emerging and first-season sires.
“If buyers are looking for proven performance, this is the one sale they need to attend,” said NZB’s Managing Director Andrew Seabrook.
“The results year in and year out speak for themselves. They reflect both the quality of horses brought to this sale and the exceptional job our preparers do in educating and presenting them.
“No other sale of this type comes close. We've had 33 Group One wins in the last five seasons compared to just two for the Australian sales. To have a Hong Kong Derby winner and an honour roll featuring Group One sprinting stars to Classic winners does all the talking for us.
“We look forward to another outstanding edition of this sale and welcoming our buyers back to Karaka.”
