The first three jumpouts at Cranbourne on Monday morning featured a few genuine Group One gallopers.

Here’s what their trainers had to say in the aftermath of those jumpouts...

HEAT 1

“She looked good to the eye. I didn’t love the ground; they had a fair bit of rain overnight and you can see in the straight, she was dipping and diving, but Declan obviously knows her back to front, and he said she felt super underneath him.

“He said she really wanted to do it, which is a key for her, but you could tell that she was dipping and diving and not happy on the going. She’ll come on and think she’s going to strip pretty right for the All-Star Mile.”

“He’s super, I’m rapt with Jimmy. It’s hard to think he can improve off what he’s done but at this stage, I couldn’t be happier.”
